Rebekah Bernard, MD is a Family Physician in private practice in Estero, FL. She is the co-author of the book Patients at Risk: The Rise of the Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant in Healthcare and the author of the follow-up book, Imposter Doctors: Patients at Risk. Dr. Bernard graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Sociology and received her medical degree from the University of Miami. She completed her residency at Florida Hospital in Orlando. She is the immediate past-president of Physicians for Patient Protection and currently serves on the Florida Medical Association Board of Governors.
