The Society of Uniformed Services Psychiatrists is pleased to offer Self-Assessment Continuing Medical Education (SA CME) that seek to improve the diagnostic assessment and management of psychiatric disorders identified in the DSM-5. SA CME in this module are focused on Psychosis and Personality Disorders.


PLEASE NOTE:

PARTICIPANTS MUST COMPLETE EACH OF THE TWO QUESTION SETS IN THIS MODULE TO RECEIVE 4.0 CME CREDITS. INSTRUCTIONS TO CLAIM 2.0 CREDITS PER QUIZ AND PRINT YOUR CERTIFICATE WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE COMPLETION OF EACH SET OF QUESTIONS.

STEPS TO ACCESS AND COMPLETE ACTIVITIES (please refer back to this later if needed):


  1. Click the "Register Online!" link on the Registration Form. Submit form.
  2. In your email inbox, open the SUSP Self- Assessment CME Registration Form confirmation email. Click on Self Assessment Topic Page link.
  3. On Self-Assessment Topic Page Bravo – Click “Substance Use” Link.
  4. Complete all 25 questions on the Psychosis Google Form quiz Set. Click Submit.
  5. Follow instructions on the next screen to redeem your 2.0 CME credits.
  6. In your email inbox, open the Google Form results email and click “view score” to view your knowledge assessment along with all answers and rationales. 
  7. Go back to Self-Assessment Topic Page Bravo (see registration form email for link), click “Autism and Developmental Disorders”.
  8. Repeat steps 4, 5 and 6.


Educational Objectives

At the conclusion of the program, participants will be able to:

  • Accurately assess knowledge in specific clinical areas to accurately direct lifelong learning;
  • Earn continuing education credits necessary for re-licensure; and
  • Earn MOC credits necessary for re-certification.


CME ACCREDITATION STATEMENT:

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and the Society of Uniformed Services Psychiatrists. The APA is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  

 

The American Psychiatric Association designates this live activity for a maximum of 4 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.


ABPN MOC ACCREDITATION STATEMENT:

The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology has reviewed the SUSP Self-Assessment CME and has approved this activity as part of a comprehensive Self-Assessment activity, which is mandated by the ABMS as a necessary component of Continuing Certification.
